**The Silence Will Settle** (OPEN) « Thread Started on Jul 30, 2006, 12:17pm »
Daggers struck the ground in a pattern, first one horse then the other. They always traveled together, some that they don’t ever meet but see from time to time say they are mates but they aren’t. Some say they are simply friends traveling together but that isn’t true either. What are they then? Simply siblings. Whipcords flew behind them and would sometimes to get tangled in each other before they veered away from each other to go around something thus breaking the tangle. Still going at a gallop they could see a glimpse of a rainbow and both turned that way.
Stretching out Silencer past her brother and looked back at him with a competitive expression before picking up even more speed. Her light build allowed her the speed of a Thoroughbred but she also had the endurance of an Arab. Silencer wasn’t a mixed, no, she was a pure bred Paint. Gazing back again she saw that Fiasco was picking up a lot of speed. Pushing her own limits she saw a log and her muscles took action. Setting her pace she leapt over it with at least 2’ to spare maybe smaller. Once again she was on the ground and behind her she could hear diamonds crashing to the ground. So involved with checking her speed and the distance between herself and the rainbow she didn’t that Fiasco had drawn up beside her until her felt his banner in her face. Skidding to a stop she hit a patch of mud and fell to her side. Her side heaved in and out trying to catch her breath and she gave a snort before lifting herself up and shaking; sending the mud flying. The vixen could hear Fiasco trotting back but he stopped just as a large piece of mud hit him in the face. You got lucky Fiasco, the mud gave you an advantage
Fiasco had merely followed his sister and saved his speed. But after the log he had taken the moment to give it his all, thus winning him the sibling race. Trotting back toward his fallen sister he stopped dead in his tracks when a piece of mud hit him. Wiping it away he stood back up as he heard vocals being used and smirked. Sure Silencer I was winning before you even hit the mud Receiving a glare from her he backed off and rolled his pale Green pools. Looking toward the rainbow he took up a slow canter and soon reached the rainbows. Stopping he went to his knees to rest his legs and felt Silencer lay beside him. *She may be cold but she still has feelings like the rest of us*.

'e wondered if 'e han't been captured all those years ago, or so it seemed, maybe 'e would have had a loving family like these, had a sister, that that bronc. 'e sighed and looked up to th' sky, it had been raining, and now a rainbow flashed 'cross th' sky. 'e knew 'e should be gettimg back. 'e sighed, to what? To be bullied by Spirit and mouned at, to begin to feel pain again. 'e liked it 'ere, 'ere there was no pain, no back-breaking work to be done, no silent tears to be shed./:\/:\
/:\/:\'e wished that 'is father had fought back...had 'e ever had a father? 'e must have had one onc, but 'e was eather dead of had forgotten about 'is son. 'e wondeed briefly if 'e should make a conversation with th' pair, then again, 'e was a slave, and wasn't supposed to be talking to 'is supirios./:\/:\

Pools gazed at the rainbow with both love and sadness. Feeling a nudge from her brother she returned to her cold state and stood up. Gazing down at him she walked off but stopped as a scent came from her right. Turning her gaze toward the brujo she smirked and trotted over to him with her tail held high in pride. Circling him a few times she felt it was time to play around for once and her circles became smaller as she continued around him. Stopping in front him in mid stride she looked him straight in the eye and spoke. Now who may you be? You don’t have the scent of a dominant one, but you have the build to be one Brushing her hide against his she continued to circle him but walked this time. Her eyes had a taunting look, just daring him to try something so she could play around. It was all a game to her and nothing more.
Fiasco had caught the stallions scent as he rose after Silencer. Looking at him and watching Silencer walking around him he snorted and walked over to the slave. More or less he cared not what the stallions rank was, everyone deserved some respect. Gracefully he bowed before the brute and came back up to speak. Don’t mind my sister, she’s weird. I’m Fiasco and she’s Healing The Pain Silencer for short Watching his sister continue to walk around the stallion he sighed softly before his thorns twitched and he backed up a few paces as his sister gently nudged him out of the way not wanting him to ruin her fun.

'e snorted and turned to th' brother, th' sister was acting...wierdly. 'e dipped 'is maw in greeting and deicded that 'e had best explain 'imself to them, as they had done so openly to 'im/:\/:\

Yes, 'e was strong, but 'e was thin and worn out by endless hard labor, 'e wanted it to end, and rebellion stirred strongly within 'is heart. But 'e knew that any rebellion before had been quelled swiftly and without mercy, why should any rebellion 'e had started be any differant?/:\/:\

Silencer rolled her pools and finally stood beside Fiasco, glaring at him for getting in the way. Hearing the stallions words she smiled softly before speaking calmly. Well, Fallen Embers, why would you be a slave? You don’t see very many slave stallions. In fact I feel sorry for you Her sympathy was easily seen in her orbs and she gave off a soft smile after speaking. Whipcord gently lashed across her hocks and after that she just stood stil, waiting patiently for Fiasco’s response to Embers words.
Fiasco did feel sorry for Ember but unlike his sister he kept to himself. Noticing that his sister had stopped speaking he picked it up shortly after. Is there any way we can help you get out of enslavement? The stag was always one to help in anyway he could, and now was no exception.
